ERKE Partnered Up with Hefei International Marathon

Sports company ERKE announced its partnership with Hefei International Marathon during its 20th Anniversary on July 2nd in Xiamen, China. The running event was recognized as an IAAF Gold Label Road Race Event by World Athletics Federation and is usually held every November in Hefei City, Middle China, Anhui Province. Starting with 2020 until 2022 competition, ERKE will become the official sports outfit sponsor of the event.

Hefei Marathon was created in 2014 and has grown from strength-to-strength, beginning with 10000+ participants in 2014 to a total of 60,000 participants in 2019 across all 4 categories, participants have included tourists and professional runners from 21 different countries all over the world.

There are about 1820 marathon events each year held in China, which shows its increasing popularity and people’s consciousness and pursuit of a healthy life. According to the “China Marathon Crowd and Consumption Insight Report” released by Nielsen Sports, Chinese runners spent an average of 11,418 yuan in 2019, mainly for running equipment and participating in events. The core runners are averagely 38 years old, males account for 84%, and the remaining 16% are females. The average income is 156,000 yuan, which is undoubtedly a group with high consumption power.

 

The above data is the important reason why erke partnered with the marathon event. The main participants in the marathon are also the target consumer groups of the brand, with such marketing investment, erke is devoting to upgrade its brand image and attract more running consumers in urban areas.

The grand opening ceremony of ERKE Malaysia flagship store has been held in Melawati Mall,Malaysia on March 9, 2019. ERKE top management, ERKE Malaysia partners and the local business celebrities were invited in this grand opening ceremony.  Besides, fans who are crazy for ERKE products are assembled here this day to participate this fantastic grand opening ceremony. It deserves to be mentioned that Muhammed Aqil, the famous Malaysian sprinter and champion of Malaysia sprint, also participated in the opening ceremony of ERKE Malaysia flagship store this day.

As a professional sprinter, he performed excellent in the sports field.In September, MuhammedAqil updated the 200m championship record with 21.01seconds, breaking Khairul Hafiz Jantan’s record.

Up to now, there are 3 mono-brand stores launched in Malaysia, besides the flagship store at Melawati mall, the other 2 were opened in the same day respectively in Sunway Velocity mall and Eko Cheras. As disclosed by ERKE management team, there will be 15 to 20 new stores to be opened in different regions in Malaysia within the year of 2019.

ERKE DONATED 100 MILLION YUAN PRODUCTS TO THE DISABLED

During its 20th anniversary on July 2nd, Chinese leading sports brand ERKE once again announced donation with 100 million Yuan worth of products to distressed areas and disable individuals in western China.
